Vault, Home To Law Firm Rankings, Is Back And Better Than Ever
">
Two years ago, many lamented the fact that Vault -- one of the most trusted resources for law students and lawyers for more than two decades -- seemed to have disappeared overnight, living on as merely a sub-site of Firsthand, a career mentoring and engagement platform for students and alumni.
Of course, since 2021, Vault continued to produce its valuable law firm rankings and offer law firm profiles based on insider perspectives, but something was missing. Where was all the fanfare that the Vault rankings once created? Had law students and lawyers stopped referring to their places of work as a V [insert number here] firm?
The powers that be at Vault knew that something needed to change, and in this case, a revival was in order. That's right: Vault is officially back. Here's an excerpt from Vault's announcement:
We're pleased to announce that, after two long years, Vault is making a comeback. We've come to this decision after reviewing the data and speaking with our students, university customers, corporate clients, and early talent professionals, and we are confident that reverting back to Vault as the core brand is the best way forward for all of our users.
Not only is the Vault domain name back, but the brand is promising to do what it does best -- but even better. "We plan to expand on what we're really good at--creating and delivering unparalleled career content--and we're going to make it even better than before," writes Eric Stutzke, Vault's general manager.
Congratulations to Vault on making its big comeback! We can't wait to cover the next edition of all of Vault's rankings.
