ABOUT: Sweet, tangy and lightly earthy Indian black tea. Darjeeling is intriguing for those that like something a bit lighter or milder in flavor then more traditional black teas such as Assam or Ceylon. It's considered by some to be the "Champagne of Teas" for it's delicate flavor. Definitely experiment with re-steeping this tea. Aroma: Musky-sweet tasting notes similar to muscat wine. Flavor: Delicate vegetal, mossy, fruity, and citrus flavors. INGREDIENTS: Black Tea SUGGESTED STEEPING INSTRUCTIONS: Add 1 teaspoon tea per 6 oz. cup to your infuser / pot. Pour near-boiling water over tea (200°F). Steep for 3-5 minutes. Remove tea leaves & enjoy. OUR TEAROOM: We opened the doors to our Connecticut tearoom in 2016.
