Attorney Missing For 2 Weeks After Disappearing From Airbnb
">
Friends and family of Jared Shadeed are hoping for information about the immigration attorney's whereabouts after he failed to check out of a Seattle Airbnb he rented. As of now, Shadeed has been missing for two weeks.
According to a secondhand report from the woman listed as Shadeed's emergency contact on the rental, the Duke Law grad left his luggage, laptop, and cell phone behind in the vacant Airbnb. An enthusiastic traveler, picking up from the East Coast for a trip to Seattle doesn't surprise his loved ones, but separating from his cell phone is out of character.
The local news reports frustration at "the limited details shared so far" regarding the search effort.
"We've been trying to gather a community in Seattle to help us find Jared and truly get the police to be in contact with us," says Ayan Nur-Bramwell. She has been searching for Shadeed by calling hospitals and mental health facilities in the Seattle area.
Anyone with information about Shadeed should call the Seattle Police Department at (206) 625-5011.
